As a Tumblr A-List partner, Storyware can help brands, personalities, and bloggers create a one-of-a-kind and super customizable Tumblr experience.
To further enable brands to have the best Tumblr experience possible, Tumblr introduced the A-List Partnership Program – a grouping of premiere advertising agencies, media agencies, creative agencies, technology providers and theme developers. Storyware was selected as one of 4 flagship A-List theme specialists in the world.
Being part of Tumblr’s A-List Partnership Program gives Storyware unparalleled access to and support from Tumblr staff, brand strategists and an API team, allowing Storyware to design and deliver the ultimate Tumblr experience for clients.
Spotify, The Home Depot, Tim McGraw, Nina Garcia, and USA Today Sports are a few of the brands and personalities that are either using Storyware themes or have contracted Storyware to create custom Tumblr experiences.
Our Tumblr Expertise
In early 2012, we began creating premium themes for sale in Tumblr’s theme garden, which is an invitation-only program. We began working with the Tumblr platform on internal projects in 2009. In April of 2011, we released our first free Tumblr theme to the Tumblr theme garden, Single A. The Single A theme included two features that no other theme offered at the time: The Sticky Post and Featured Posts. As of this date, the Single A theme has been installed on over 125,000 blogs.
In addition to our experience creating Tumblr themes, we provide Tumblr customer support, strategy and consulting.
We speak at conferences about Tumblr, have been featured in the press, and landed business through the community we’ve built on Tumblr.
We have been users of Tumblr since the year it launched in 2007.
We live and breathe Tumblr every day.
Creating a Unique Tumblr Experience
When designing Tumblr themes, our goals are to create a site that is delightful to browse, filled with features, and simple to customize. We have built features, such as the sticky post and featured posts, that no other theme had at the time. Our features set includes:
- Sticky and Featured Blog Posts
- Tumblr Featured Tag Feed
- Photo galleries from Instagram and Flickr
- Post sharing: Facebook Like button, Tweet button, Google+ button, Pin It button, Tumblr Share button, Instapaper Read Later button
- Blog Comments powered by Disqus and/or Facebook
- Analytics powered by Google and/or Clicky
- Custom Fonts by Typekit and Google
- Recent Tweets
- Music/Podcast features powered by Spotify, Soundcloud, and exfm
- Custom Responsive Layout (Ballard theme only).
(If you don’t see something on that list that you want, let us know. The possibilities are almost endless).
