Marmon Mok is a leading architectural design practice in the San Antonio community and throughout the state of Texas with a long history on major civic, educational, sports, healthcare, interior design, cultural and municipal projects. While the firm has been at the forefront of design for over 60 years, when they approached us their website was outdated, lacking both the functionality and style of their architectural projects.
Working with our partners at Pentagram in Austin, Texas we helped Marmon Mok create a website that mimics the beauty of their designs. By streamlining the presentation of their projects in a clean grid, we were able to highlight images and renderings, while also clearly presenting project specs, features, and descriptions. The result is a user-friendly site that mirrors the clean architectural lines of the firm’s designs, while highlighting their experience and expertise. Design, Done.
What We Did
- User Experience
- Information Architecture
- Custom WordPress Development
- QA + Testing
- Training + Support Documentation
Working across 8 market sectors, Marmon Mok had over 80 projects they wanted to feature on their new site. Using WordPress we helped them develop a custom system for adding and editing projects, including options that allow the team to showcase high resolution images and renderings, project features, and related projects in similar sectors. The result is a series of easily editable grids that present the firm’s projects in an organized and highly visual fashion.
We all know that any company is only as good as its employees – and Marmon Mok wanted to show off theirs on the new site. Working with Pentagram we built a custom staff page with expandable modals for displaying additional photos, bio information and education details. The result is a staff page that puts the faces behind Marmon Mok front and center, allowing clients and users to learn more about the employees that have made the firm a success for decades.
